Chevrolet’s plug-in hybrid version of the Equinox is a better choice for those who need hauling capacity or want to go further on a single charge, but this EV is the one to consider if you’re looking for an everyday commuter that’s good-looking, comfortable and reasonably priced. It’s a solid alternative to the Tesla Model Y, Ford Mach-E, Hyundai Ioniq 5 and other competing models.
