Siglent Oscilloscope Review

A siglent oscilloscope is a device used to observe, record and analyze electronic signals. It can be found in a variety of devices including computers, cell phones and televisions. Siglent is one of the most popular brands of oscilloscopes and offers a wide range of features at an affordable price.

The SDS6000L series is the company’s first 8-channel low profile oscilloscope that combines unparalleled performance and value. With sample rates up to 10GSa/s and storage up to 500 Mpts/ch, the SDS6000L series offers an unprecedented level of detail, enabling users to quickly discover elusive signals using sequence mode.

Engineering Excellence: Understanding Siglent Oscilloscopes

Siglent offers both digital and analog storage scopes to suit any application. All models feature a large 7-inch 256-level intensity grading display and color temperature display modes. They also feature a wide range of signal acquisition settings and a variety of analysis capabilities. These capabilities are combined with a high level of channel-to-channel isolation to provide an outstanding combination of capability and value.

The Siglent’s layout is eerily similar to the Keysight’s and uses many of the same knobs. Unlike the Keysight, though, some of the knobs have a different function when pushed. For example pushing the vertical gain knob enables delayed sweep. This feature bloats the waveform by blowing up the black area between samples, making it easier to find specific areas of interest. There is also a “do all” knob that selects options from the screen menu. I found this control to be over sensitive and it was easy to accidentally scroll past the option you wanted.
